The goddess Aphrodite is said to have given a rose to her son Eros, god of love. He, in turn, gave the rose to Harpocrates, the god of silence, to induce him to conceal the indiscretions and weaknesses of the gods. In the Middle ages, a rose was hung on the ceiling of a council chamber pledged all present to secrecy (sub rosa or “under the rose.”) Keiko Mecheri brings all the mystery, beauty and sensuality of the majestic rose together in one fragrance featuring three types of legendary flower: Turkish, Bulgarian, and Dades. Elegant and actually quite fresh and lively, Mogador's three roses combine in perfect velvety harmony next to a whisper of sweet night blooming jasmine. Timeless and enchanting.
